Har ki Pauri

Har ki Pauri is bhagwan Shiv ji place where shiv means har himself performed tapasya at this place. There are divya minerals and chemicals at this place. That is why water from ganga ji is never become dirty and there are anti bacterial minerals which destroy all harmful bacterias within 3 to 4 hours. The person who regularly takes bath in ganga never gets any heath problem and always remains healthy and happy. Ganga is most sacred as per our ved purans and mahabharat granth. Ganga water is like divya amrit. One should keep ganga jal at home and take some drops daily and if possible add some drops in bathing water. This is keep you healthy and happy. Chandi Devi Temple

Legend has it that Chanda-Munda, the army chief of the local demon king, Shumbha-Nishumbha, was killed by Goddess Chandi here after which the place got the name Chandi Devi. This temple, situated on top of the Neel Parvat on the other bank of river Ganges was constructed in AD 1929 by Suchat Singh, the then King of Kashmir. The temple is a 3-km trek from Chandi Ghat and it is believed that the Adi Shankaracharya established the main statue in eighth century AD. The Chandi Devi Temple is now also accessible by a ropeway, which starts near the Gauri Shankar Temple.
